About

Our small shop on NH 9.

Vastram Kurtis is a women's ethnic-wear shop on the highway in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. We've been quietly serving the neighbourhood — and the steady stream of travellers stopping at the ICICI Bank ATM next door — since 2024.

The shop is run by Chandra Kala Bohra, who handpicks every piece. Most fabrics come from trusted partners in Surat and Jaipur — cotton, rayon, georgette, embroidered linens — chosen for what wears well in Kumaon's mix of dry winters and damp monsoons.

What you'll find: cotton kurtis for everyday, embroidered straight cuts for office, anarkali sets for festivals, hand-block prints, and a small but rotating selection of dupattas and palazzos.

What you won't find: pushy sales, fixed prices that ignore who you are, or a counter rushing you out the door. We're a small shop. Take your time.
